Liberty Chair is one of By Pizarro's most comfortable designs. This chair was designed to stand out and provide comfort in the home. We like to play with form and construction, especially with a chair like this one that features wall designed for leaning. We played with a lot of material choices for the cushion and found that matching materials with different tactile feedbacks would create a unique customer experience. We carefully constructed the chair and found that people associate comfort before they sit on a chair. Increasing the surface area added to the stability of the chair and enhanced this visual comfort. The walls were another addition that created a visual that exemplified support. We used these visual cues and applied a modern twist to the design. All of our designs fall easily into the production line. This product featured stainless steel, wood, and tapestry. The walls of this chair are lined with foam to give extra support to the leaning action. The base of the chair has enough room to add a pillow for additional support and comfort.
