After the massive accident, Chile had on its miners, we knew as a company, and we had to highlight the significant rescue feat. We worked directly with Yao Yuan, a Chinese sculptor who has a very treacherous past that focuses on creating work that inspires peace. In 2011 he first presented the World Peace Statue to represent friendships China has with the rest of the world. This belief system started a new trend for him as he continued creating his stainless steel beauties. We partnered with Yao to create an impactful piece for the miners in Chile. We were a significant connector between China and Chile and helped manufacture this magnificent sculpture, The front of the World Peace Statue has markings featuring two Chinese characters, one meaning modesty a harmony while the other peace and tranquility. Together with Yao, we wanted to create a sculpture that represents that two separate worlds can come together to appreciate the advancements they have made as a country. The world has a lot of global conflict, but when a situation as the miners ended so magnificently, the world needs to come together to love humanity as a whole.
