By Pizarro co-designed, created, produced and millwork for The Penthouse Restaurant in Santa Monica. Located atop the Huntley Hotel, the city ocean views are more than just unique. Relaxing and treating oneself to a cocktail during the sunset was the driving inspiration to speak to its ocean views. Our co-designing techniques provide critical production and manufacturing practices that are key to the completion of a project. Due to the location of the project, we knew we had to bring the sea views to the interior. We did this by selected colors, materials and finished that did not obstruct the magnificent vistas. Each material was designed to bring comfort and relaxation to the interior design of the space. Because of the relaxed nature, we created areas that could always feel personal and enclosed. We used a lot of fabrics and wall separators for the booth seating and elevated the booth seating to create a more extreme experience of the view. By Pizarro provided an extensive amount of knowledge when it came to designing production and manufacturing. We have a team of contractors located in many parts of the world and lead managers that we fly to the locations to ensure that our product has the high standards we sell. We always deliver a competitive process and can do so because of our ability to simplify the manufacturing processes of the design builds.
