Tahoe Queen Cruise was one of the most competitive attractions on Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Queen hosted numerous events, private events, daily tours and dining experience for those traveling in the picturesque natural environment. We knew we had to design to give guests a moment to speak to their surrounding environment. We designed and built the design elements of the cruise with a traditional approach to not take away from the scenes. While looking at the space, we knew we had to open up the interior to experience the exterior.
We were very excited to take on this project because we had never worked on a cruise ship before. Because of our engineering background, we were able to take on this project without difficulty. Our clients wanted to maintain a very traditional approach and attract younger children with their families. We Did the exterior with a lot of colors and dramatic moldings to make one feel as if they were entering an enchanted space. Because the cruise hosted a significant amount of weddings, we kept the interior very classic and elegant. The chandelier feature was installed to be viewed on multiple floors and fully experiences in the bar area. By Pizarro designed and manufactured the entire cruise ship and helped bring more business to the attraction.
At By Pizarro we create beautiful spaces that are easy to manufacture even if it is a project on water. We used the highest grade materials and finished all the exterior with paint that could last its terrain. Creating beautiful design is essential, but we knew this project needed high-grade finishes to withstand its environment. We delivered competitive prices while still showing off an elegant design aesthetic.
