We designed products and sourced materials for AnQi in Costa Mesa. House of An’s "culinary philosophy is based on chef “Mama” Helene An’s principle of “Yin and Yang” cooking, an approach that follows the foundations of Eastern medicine, composed of only the finest ingredients that are rich in antioxidants and health." The restaurant itself has a specific need to demonstrate its culinary exclusivity. Through development and research, we designed a space that would be efficient to build and spoke the design intentions of the owner, An. By Pizarro created an interior design that reflected the culinary philosophy and featured modern aesthetic with traditional Chinese elements at the same time. We believe this meshing of two design philosophies was interesting. The restaurant also had a duo philosophy because it also included a runway to create unique music and fashion events. The many elements in the design enhanced the dynamic experience of the space. The production and manufacturing varied by elements and space. We sourced the majority of the material and designed furnishings for the area. We offered very competitive rates and knowledge in design that helps the process of opening a restaurant move faster.
