The Avow coffee table is a truly modern addition to ones home. It is a representation of the modernist movement and plays with color, material and finish to exaggerate its form. The coffee table features multiple materials such as wood, aluminum and marble. The architectural cutouts of the coffee table are enhanced as it floats on its wooden base while the marble gives the design the ornamental features that make a home a warmer place. We used a thick piece of marble that was joined by the aluminum to create the multi-material countertop. This design style that has its unique tastes but works so easily in a space as well. The construction of this design is straightforward and intuitive. There are structural cut-outs inside of the marble to allow it to rest with the aluminum frame. The seamless countertop effect feels great to the touch and is structurally sound with reinforcements. This piece is perfect for a home with detailed features and a warm environment.
